Coasteering is amazing! Explore Ireland’s west coast up close from a completely unique angle. Coasteering is a combination of adventure swimming, climbing, scrambling and cliff jumping were you will be exploring gullies, caves, cracks and different rock formations created by the sea.

Every Coasteering session is different and we use a number of different sites that our expert guides know inside out to insure we will provide you with an amazing Coasteering session in Connemara.

Coasteering can be for everyone, we will tailor each session to suit the groups sense of adventure, fitness, and ability. This is an action packed, adrenaline pumping activity and is our most popular new activity at Real Adventures, one not to be missed whilst your visiting Connemara.

What do I need to bring?

We will provide you with all the necessary equipment including wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets and safety equipment. All you need to bring is a towel, swimming togs/shorts, a second pair of old shorts to go over your wetsuit, an old pair of shoes you don’t mind getting wet and a sense of adventure!

Pick up

3 sessions a day (Morning 10am – 12.30pm; Afternoon 2.30pm – 5pm; Evening 6.30pm – 9pm)
We currently use a number of spots along the Wild Atlantic Way, we take into account a number of factors including weather, tide and sea conditions. Therefore we will make the decision as to where you will be coasteering at the time of booking.
